2020 – 3rd week February.
My last flight for work to another city before Covid.
The flight was delayed and I simply laid back with a book in hand.
As a habit – I mostly stop at the bookshop at the airport, browse and pick a book of my interest.
But as I read through pages – my mind starts ticking….am already thinking – who would I gift this book to ??
Who needs it the most ?? Who would benefit from these pages ??
And on that day – I met this very senior leader of a Pharma group – who I gifted that book.
He said, “Chander this is the 3rd book you have gifted me and all these books are so interesting and relevant”.
“Your insights are so powerful and I have relied on you for #clarity on more than 10 occasions” he added.
And he instantly popped the question – “When do I get to read your book” ??
Hmmmmm – I thought to myself.
Every next time I sit at the airport now – those words echo in my ears.
And am sure ‘one’ good reason enough to write a book.
That’s my story. That’s how I considered writing a book.
