“GAME ON. LEVEL UP.”
And what a wrap to #FacilitationWeek2025 it was – with the IAF Singapore family!
Yesterday, I found myself in a room full of energy, insight, and playful curiosity.
The session ??
“Level Up Your Facilitation with Gamification Design”- a hands-on, high-impact workshop led by the incredibly creative and generous Ben Aw Wen Xin – EvolveYourGame🎮 Wen and Riley Goh.
But it wasn’t just about games.
It was about learning how to learn better.
About understanding how gamification can unlock deeper participation, engagement, and transformation in the rooms we hold as facilitators.
I was there as a participant, yes – soaking in the insights like every eager learner in the room. But I also carried with me the honour of representing International Association of Facilitators (IAF) – India as its current Chair.
And what a full-circle moment it was.
At the close of the session, I was invited to lead the final reflection using two facilitation tools close to my heart – bringing the group together in shared insight and celebration.
Followed by a heartfelt vote of thanks to the International Association of Facilitators (IAF) – Singapore Chapter – who supported and stood by us during the early days of IAF India’s formation.
A special shoutout to Angeline Tan, Chair of IAF Singapore, for not only inviting me but also giving me the space to give back – to share a few thoughts, to honour our shared roots, and to celebrate the vibrant facilitation community we’re all part of.
I returned with
-joy in my heart,
-tools in my backpack,
-and deep respect for this tribe of passionate facilitators.
