Roots & Wings

Have you ever walked into a room… and instantly known something extraordinary was about to happen??
Lonavala. 2018. My very first IAF Conference.
I walked into a room where soft music played, cards were laid out with intent, and the décor resembled a theatre stage more than a workshop.
And then I overheard someone whisper:
“𝐈 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐮𝐩 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲… 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲… 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢.”
That caught my attention.
The session was Gamifying Consciousness by Bharti!
And honestly… it didn’t feel like a session. It felt like stepping into an immersive experience designed with emotion, movement, reflection, and soul.
She is a master facilitator whose work doesn’t merely engage your mind – it reaches somewhere much deeper.
If you ever want to experience transformation… simply walk into her room.
Years later, in 2022, I had the privilege of being introduced by her at a gathering.
But trust Bharti to do it differently. Before introducing me, she reached out to people asking: “𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧?”
And then… she stitched together those voices, reflections, emotions, and impressions into an introduction that moved me deeply.
That day I learnt:
Great facilitators don’t just introduce people – they reveal them.
Bharti has this rare gift of creating transformational spaces.
She doesn’t merely facilitate learning – she engages the mind, body, and spirit together.
My Profound Learning from Bharti:
“𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞 – 𝐢𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧.”
From Bharti, I learned that facilitation is not about activities alone.
It is about creating experiences so meaningful that people discover something deeper about themselves.
Through her work at Werdeas Consulting – beautifully named from “𝐖𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐈𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐬” – Bharti continues to co-create journeys across organization development, consciousness, capability building, coaching, gamification, and learning.
And through all of it – she continues to weave magic.
Bharti, thank you for being unapologetically YOU.
You inspire.
You provoke thought.
You move people.
And for many of us in the facilitation community –
you continue to give both roots and wings.
With admiration and gratitude
Chander
